  • How do I get started?  Getting started is fast and simple!! First, call me if you have any questions @ 845-494-4898 or email me at soulstarresumes@aol.com if you want to discuss what package is right for you or with any questions in general.  If you do not have any questions, simply go to the page entitled “Order Your Resume Package Here & Lets Get Started!”, choose the resume package that you want, then pay through our secure server.  Once I receive your order, you will receive a form/questionnaire that you fill out and email back to me.  Or you can send a copy of your old or existing resume that I can extract information from.  You will then receive a phone call from me or we will set up a phone conference if needed to go over and execute some of the details and fine-tuning to make sure your resume package is more than perfect!! There is nothing better then speaking to someone personally when it comes to creating something as important as a resume package!

  • What is the difference in cost between this and traditional resume writing services?  Nothing. Actually my services are cheaper than most resume writing services and my channeling is a part of my daily routine and life.  Most of this work is done from my heart and in service to source, humanity and in my divine plan. All I need from you is permission to receive and permission to do work on you.

  • Why should I hire a resume writer rather than write the resume myself?  Your never get a second chance to make a first impression.  That is where your resume comes into play.  It is the first thing that your prospective employer sees that he/she that relates to you.  This is why a PROPER RESUME is so important.  This is what they look at and review when deciding if they want to interview you as a possible candidate for the position you are applying for.  If they don’t like your resume, you most likely wont get an interview.  This is what you don’t want to happen which is why you should have your resume professionally written by a versed resume writer.  Would you hire an attorney to do the job of an accountant?  Probably not so leave the resume writing to the resume writer!!

  • What is the turn around time before I receive my resume and what will happen once the final draft is approved?  Once we have your payment and the answered questionnaire or copy of your old or current resume, it will only take 3-5 business days (or up to 7 days for our largest package) for you to have your initial draft. You then review your draft and inform me if anything needs to be revised, or if not I will create your final copy and you will have your resume package. Once again I take my time and put great care in designing a resume package that is custom and built for you which is why I don’t offer a 24-hour turn around time.  Nothing special can be created in a time as little as under 24 hours. 

  • How will I receive my resume and related resume documents?  You’ll be receiving your resume package in two different file formats, MS Word (.doc) and PDF. (If you need to install Adobe Reader to access the file here is the link and It can be downloaded for free via http://get.adobe.com/reader/).

  • Can I request for my resume to be updated over time?  Yes!!  If they are small basic revisions added to your latest resume (that I created for you) they would always be free. 

  • Is my information kept confidential?  Absolutely!  Your information NEVER gets shared.  I store it and hold onto the resume package I created for you in case you need any updating in the near future.

  • Can I meet you in person?  If you are located in or around my area we can absolutely meet me in person if you so choose.  I do work with people in various locations because the nature of this business allows it to be done via phone and email and theses are the most practical and convenient ways to serve you, But if you are conveniently located near my area and you want to meet face to face we can definitely arrange that.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?  I accept Cash or any major Credit Card.

  • What if I am not satisfied with the final product?  Customer satisfaction is the most important thing to me! I will make sure I will only deliver to you the best possible custom product.  I will welcome any requests for suggestions or revisions within a reasonable amount of time.  Remember a resume is not going to get you a job.  A resume is a tool that gets the employers attention and gets you an interview.  It is a tool that gets your foot in the door.  Ultimately you will have to sell yourself once you are face to face with your prospective employer.

  • What if I am looking towards various career paths or different types of jobs, and have different qualifications to satisfy such a broad range?  Can you still help me?  A resume cannot be done if you have multiple career objectives that are in different areas. A resume, after all, should be custom-fitted with one specific career to highlight your competencies effectively.  It is important that you must identify some type of career goal first.  Sometimes it is best to create several different resumes that cater to and are tailored to different positions that you may be seeking.  If you will be doing the same type of work in a different industry, such as computer sales from mobile device sales, we can highlight your sales skills that will make you qualified for the position.  But if you are looking for a job as an exotic animal handler and you submit a resume highlighting your accomplishments as a car salesman, chances are you would not be a good candidate and probably wont get a phone call for an interview nerveless the job.  So your resume should be  geared towards the position and filed that you are seeking.

  • Are your rates competitive?  No, my rates are not competitive.  They are lower than most companies because I do not hire out contract writers to write your resume packages, nor do I have higher rates for services that guarantee a “quick turn-around time” or that guarantee finding you a job.  My rates are very fair and you will get a superior, quality product with a more than affordable price.  Word of mouth is the best form of advertising for a business.  When I deliver to you a great product combined with a great price, I am sure you will tell your friends and family about your experience with A Proper Resume!

  • Will you revise my current resume or cover letter for a smaller fee?  I do not like to revise the work of others, because it does not fully represent and reflect my work and craftsmanship.  My prices are very fair and extremely affordable so revising the work of others for a cheaper price is something I don’t offer.  Creating something from scratch with the finest intentions at an affordable price is what I do.

  • What if I lose or misplace my resume? I offer lifetime storage.  If you ever lose or misplace or for some other reason need another copy of your resume just email me and I will email it to you free of charge.
